About the role:

Are you a real ‘numbers person’? You know the type…. loves excel spreadsheets and pivot tables, reconciliations excite you and you get a kick out of finding and resolving accounts anomalies?   This is a great opportunity for an experienced  Accounts / Administration Officer or Assistant Accountant to apply their powers for good in this truly purpose driven organisation.

This is a diverse role, responsible for a range of accounts related tasks including processing, reporting, reconciliations and analysis to support NDIS claims and compliance. 

To succeed in the role you will have: 

  • Strong accounts and administration skills, with high accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail. 
  • Accustomed to working to tight deadlines, including EOM and EOFY reporting deadlines. 
  • Recent experience working in the disability sector and a solid understanding of the NDIS claims process highly desirable. 
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting individualised contracts or service agreements.
  • A qualification in accounting or accounts will be highly regarded, however not essential.
  • You will have the ability to provide and maintain a National Police Clearance and an NDIS Workers Screening Clearance.
