Our client, a Federal Government Agency is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Architect to design, build and test hte Agency's systems to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all its information. This role is a 9 month contract.
Working alongside a team of professionals, the Architect be responsible for, but not limited to:
Contribute to the development and maintenance of the security architecture for hte Agency.
Assist with defining and maintaining 'standard patterns' that are aligned with the Agency's security architecture.
Identify and incorporate appropriate security measures in the development of ICT projects and the security program.
Participate in the selection of appropriate strategies to mitigate security risks.
support the delivery of security products and services by external providers.
Support the certification and accreditation of Agency systems.
Experience / Skills Required
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and/or qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in ICT security and ICT management, or equivalence in experience.
Knowledge of and experience in the application of cyber security best practices.
Must be an Australian citizen.
Ideally, has knowledge of Australian Government security standards, demonstrated ability to work in a team and well developed oral and written communication skills.
