A day in the life of a Credit Modelling Analyst
You will help to advance credit risk modelling through development of predictive scoring models within the organisation.
Key Duties include
Develop, implement and maintain the businesses predictive scoring models.
Monthly monitoring of model performance, keeping the business informed of any model deterioration or changes.
Work with external consultants and the wider modelling team to identify project or regulatory change impacts to model performance.
Ensure models remain fit for purpose and compliant through regulatory and environmental changes.
Desired Experience to succeed in the role
2-3 years' experience in a Quantitative Risk Analyst role focusing on risk modelling or scorecard development. (Talented grads will be considered)
Commercial experience in either Business or Consumer lending, retail or non-retail.
Knowledge of scorecard modelling methodologies and approaches.
Strong data manipulation, analysis and data visualisation skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel, SQL and either Python or R
Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical information clearly and concisely.
Strong project management skills.
Degree or master's in applied mathematics, quantitative finance, statistics, econometrics, engineering, physics or relevant.
