Our Governance, Regulation & Conduct (GRC) team sits in Audit & Assurance and operates in a number of key areas such as corporate governance, regulatory compliance, conduct, regulatory change, and large-scale remediation.

We use our specialist skills to help our clients become trusted organisations by delivering fair and suitable outcomes.

As the GRC Assurance business expands we are keen to speak with Analyst level candidates starting out their careers in the wealth, insurance, banking or superannuation sectors. We will enable you to utilise your governance, legal or risk and compliance qualifications in a diverse and challenging role.

Our work with clients is from a number of perspectives: we help them to look backwards, and we assist clients to identify past problems, and remediate them. We also help clients to strengthen their business models looking forward, to minimise the risk of conduct issues by helping review and redesign existing processes and frameworks to deliver better customer outcomes.

What will your typical day look like?

  • As an Analyst, you will play an important role in providing detailed work to support our teams and help our clients solve some of their most complex regulatory challenges such as responding to and implementing regulatory change, the development of conduct and compliance frameworks, and providing advice on remediation activities
  • You will learn how to provide support in developing other junior team members, including graduates
  • In providing services to our clients you will work collaboratively within teams to analyse information, form hypotheses and help deliver tailored solutions

Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You are someone with:

  • A background or qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Legal or Risk and Compliance
  • Ideally, some previous experience in professional services
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to deliver excellent team support and client service
  • A client-centric approach with a constant drive for delivering innovative and out-of-the-box solutions
  • A talent for synthesising complex issues and escalating (when required) to senior team members and partners
