Your new company
This highly sought after and agile government agency is a vital member of Australia's national security community and oversees many functions including intelligence, cyber security and offensive operations. Hays is partnering exclusively with this agency to fill multiple vacancies across a variety of business areas.

Your new role
There are several positions available in a newly established team that has been created to work in partnership with Federal Government Departments to support and fortify against risks associated with cyber security. Positions and duty statements will be created to compliment the successful candidate's skill set and capability, but will include the following:

  • Project coordination and support officers
  • Secretariat and Governance Officers
  • Branch Governance and Coordination Officers

Please note - all of these positions require the successful candidate to hold a minimum Baseline Security clearance prior to commencing. Candidates who hold TSPV clearances are encouraged to apply regardless of background.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in these positions you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will thrive in an agile and ever-changing work environment, and excel at stakeholder management. In addition to this you will have:
  • Ability to support relationships on a national and international level with partner organisations;
  • Strong writing ability with the capacity to break down technical concepts in to easy to understand language;
  • Excellent organisational skills and accountability for information management;
  • Strong influencing skills to drive intelligence-led results.

Experience working in an intelligence role or in the cyber security field is ideal though not essential.

What you'll get in return
In these positions you will be engaged on a 12 month non-ongoing APS contract with the strong possibility of further extension or permanency. There is also capacity to engage candidates via permanent or temporary transfer. You will be working in an extremely sought-after government agency, in a high performing environment with people who are the in top percentile of their fields. You will receive a full annual salary in line with the Enterprise Agreement of the agency in addition to full benefits of being an APS employee including 15.4% Superannuation.
