Roper Gulf Regional Council is seeking a CDP Compliance Officer to be a part of our high performing CDP team. The major role is implementing and managing a financially sustainable delivery model for the Community Development Programme (CDP) to ensure contractual compliance and quality outcomes on community and for all stakeholders. Achieve targets and key performance indicators to maintain a financially sustainable delivery model for the Community Development Programme (CDP). The successful candidate will be responsible in ensuring contractual compliance and quality outcomes on community for all stakeholders.

We are looking for someone passionate and determined about improving the employment opportunities and feasible outcomes for our CDP Job Seekers, RGRC and external stakeholders across our CDP identified sites. Someone who has the ability to support a diverse team in CDP delivery while adhering to a multifaceted contract.  Someone who isn’t scared to think outside the box, as this isn’t an easy role. With language, cultural, geographical remote isolation and climatic barriers to be factored in, the right person will appreciate the rewards of supporting and ensuring that the program is compliant.

Our CDP Compliance Officer will have;

  • Demonstrated experience in the employment services industry.
  • Qualifications relevant to the role, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse contracts, policies, procedures or legislation to solve problems or respond to enquiries.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills to coordinate and balance tasks efficiently in a team environment to achieve key performance indicators and operational targets.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to mentor and support our CDP remote team
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to write standard correspondence, reports, submissions and proposals that require original content.

You’ll need minimum C class driver licence (manual) with experience in 4x4 vehicle operations, be competent driving long distances and on remote unsealed roads.

You must hold a current Working with Children’s Card or a copy of receipt of an application is required upon commencement. You will also be required to undertake a criminal history check prior to employment.

This position is a maximum term, full time (38 hours per week), with a salary range of $67,781 – $74,819 to be based on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include 6 weeks annual leave plus leave loading, relocation assistance up to $3,000 and opportunities for personal and professional development.
