Whilst prior experience in compliance and/or auditing is highly regarded it is not necessary for this role as full training will be provided. About the role:
Responsible for testing the effectiveness of internal controls and business processes
Analysis of compliance risks and operational risks.
Provide input into compliance and operational risk control.
Draft various documents including policies and procedures.
Assist in managing compliance and risk issues.
Assist in monitoring of and reporting on key risk indicators.
Desired Skills and Experience
Our ideal candidate:
Relevant tertiary qualification
Experience in risk and/or compliance in financial services (desired)
Understanding of compliance and operational risk practice
Knowledge of relevant regulatory obligations
Excellent communication and ability to influence
Strong attention to detail
