About the Role

As the Compliance Auditor you will be a key member of Impellam APAC’s Governance, Risk and Compliance Team, responsible for overseeing a number of tasks to ensure that regulation guidelines are being followed, and that all policies under the guidelines are being met, for all specialist staffing brands in the APAC region. You will be a subject matter expert and the go-to person for all compliance requirements, overseeing and conducting audits, identifying risks and maintaining compliance records.

Your day to day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Assisting in the development of compliance auditing plans based on thorough research on the relevant industry and associated regulatory bodies
  • Performing all internal quality audits on the staffing Compliance Teams on a weekly basis
  • Assisting in the management of customer and regulatory body external audits as and when required specific to relevant state guidelines
  • Creating and implementing change processes for improvement the compliance procedures where necessary
  • Providing advice and risk recommendations to the relevant process owners across compliance and other operations teams regarding regulatory compliance best practice
  • Performing ad hoc projects and tasks as directed by your manager

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 4 years experience within an audit, risk or compliance function ideally within the Healthcare or Contractor Recruitment industry. From your previous experience you will display the following skills and attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience working objectively and confidentially
  • Strong organisational skills with an exceptionally high attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of risk, compliance and Audit
  • Relationship building skills and the ability to confidently manage and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and juggle multiple priorities

An internal audit certification would be desirable but the willingness to undertake studies to gain the relevant qualification would be ideal.

Salary band - $75K - $90K
