Job Description

As Compliance Manager you will develop, monitor and operationally support the uplift of our compliance framework for our business. You ensure that our compliance risks are adequately identified, mitigated, monitored and reported. You lead and embed a strong risk and compliance culture within our business. As a manager, you will mentor, coach, support and advise others across our business as they learn and grow in their roles. You will be a key part of driving uplift in Great Southern Bank's compliance culture.

Essential Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (eg. business or law) with a qualification from an Australian GRC institute qualification being highly desirable
  • Knowledge of retail banking legislation and industry codes
  • Experience in breach assessment and remediation
  • Second line assurance experience
  • Knowledge and experience in Australian retail banking product regulations
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory licensing and compliance requirements
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in a similar role within an ADI
  • Able to work independently yet demonstrate the flexibility to work well within a team
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Display a professional and commercial work approach
  • The ability to build strong relationships and influence at a senior level
