With risk and AML being at the forefront of our priorities; we are eagerly seeking an experienced Compliance Manager, to play an integral role within our Financial Crime Compliance Function. You’ll be responsible for implementing the Bank’s FEC & Anti Money Laundering (AML) program and liaising with Head office in the implementation of the FEC & AML processes. The role requires a high degree of analysis as well as strong problem solving and decision making ability and interpersonal skills.

Supporting the Head of Compliance, you’ll be proactive in developing and maintaining best practice within our compliance framework.

What are you going to do? You’ll be…
  • Providing support and advisory to the 1st line business, with the aim of maintaining effective AML processes
  • Identifying and reviewing AML/CTF risks, and offering guidance to implement control gaps
  • Coaching, mentoring and training the AML and KYC team
  • Developing and maintaining existing monitoring plans in relation to FEC Policy
  • Working closely with the business units to ensure compliance with applicable laws, industry standards and internal policy without minimising strategic business objectives
  • Analysing the complaints or referrals, and co-ordinating with the business units for resolution and advice
What are we looking for? You’ll have…
  • Demonstrated experience in financial services; specifically in AML and KYC advisory roles
  • The ability to understand and research complex compliance issues
  • Demonstrated experience working with the 2nd line of defence
  • ACAMS or ACI accreditation
  • An understanding of local and global compliance and regulatory standards
  • Strong communication, decision-making and analytical skills
