This is an excellent opportunity to join the ANZ Compliance Regulatory Assurance team as a Senior Analyst/Manager. You will be based in Sydney and will report to the Head of Regulatory Assurance ANZ.
The Compliance Regulatory Assurance team is responsible for delivering effective risk-based reviews to provide assurance to senior management that controls designed to mitigate regulatory risks in their business are operating effectively. The team also drives and validates the assessment of key compliance risks and controls with business stakeholders as part of the annual Risk and Control Self-Assessment Exercise and through critical control reviews. The scope of work for the team may cover any of Macquarie’s business groups, and entities in ANZ.
As our newest team member you will bring an inquisitive and analytical mindset to proactively identify and analyse issues and their root causes, propose viable solutions and have the ability to negotiate with senior stakeholders to drive business engagement and successfully communicate the results of your reviews.
You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to develop relationships across various stakeholder groups, including regional compliance staff and the business. Demonstrating Initiative, possessing an open attitude to innovation and a willingness to learn and be challenged will also be critical to your success. Bringing a minimum 5 years of regulatory compliance and/or compliance assurance experience from one of the Big 4 audit firms, a financial services organisation or a financial services regulator will be an advantage.
