Your new opportunity

This exciting position will have you involved in identifying, investigating, remediating, and reporting cyber threats, events, incidents, and risks to RAA. This involves:

  • Administering security detection and analysis tools for security event monitoring, alerting, and reporting
  • Establishing and maintaining event monitoring and logging solutions
  • Implementing automated ways of measuring the effectiveness of the threat intelligence program
  • Maintaining collaborative relationships with third-party service providers, and managing third party support staff
  • Responding to incidents as part of the Incident Response Team.

What will set you apart from the rest

At RAA we hire on cultural fit first and technical fit second. However, to be successful in this role you will need:

  • Degree or tertiary qualification within a relevant IT area, or equivalent skills, knowledge & experience
  • Experience assisting with the development of data systems, network security architecture, security risk analysis scenarios, and response procedures
  • Experience in incident response, firewalls, Windows and Linux O/S, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, network traffic analysis, and vulnerability assessments
  • Experience working with the ASD “Top Four” and “Essential Eight”
  • Experience implementing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans
