As the Cyber Security Analyst, you will work closely with the Manager, ICT and collaborate with government agencies, external contractors and auditors to maintain Funds SA's cyber security framework. This role will also ensure that the cyber security reviews are carried out in a timely manner and provide advice, training and support in strengthening Funds SA’s security position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Funds SA cyber security framework in accordance with SACSF and other relevant industry standards such as CPS 234.
  • Manage designated external relationships i.e. government agencies, auditors, contractors, and vendors
  • Assess initiatives of the Digital Strategy from a cyber risk perspective and provide assessments to the Manager of ICT and Digital Committee.
  • Actively participate in any audits involving a cyber security component and respond to cyber security audit queries.
  • Monitor the organisation’s computer networks and cloud systems to identify any violations and security breaches that need to be resolved.
  • Prepare reports to document process implementation, improvements and security breaches.


Key Requirements:

  • Experience implementing cyber security frameworks, policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated experience with IT infrastructure (Windows, virtualisation, cloud, authentication, networking, firewalls etc.)
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant technology discipline or equivalent experience
  • Eligible to obtain baseline security clearance
  • Knowledge of South Australian Cyber Security Framework (SACSF) and Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) are highly desirable
