Our client, an ASX organisation is seeking a cyber security business analyst to support the cyber security program manager deliver a huge pipeline of initiatives that will keep you busy for the foreseeable future:
  • Several years of projects to complete
  • ASX-listed client
  • Right hand of the Cyber Security Program Manager
The cyber security business analyst will be responsible for the following duties:
  • conceptualising scope and requirements into solutions
  • gathering and analysing requirements from a variety of sources and working on solution design, sometimes with third parties
  • supporting delivery, reporting and documentation
  • implement and execute cyber security initiatives against the backdrop of overarching company cyber security strategy
  • documenting designs and decisions
  • coordinating implementation
  • creating communication items for different stakeholders, both technical and business-focused
  • applying best practice in line with project delivery framework
  • analysing cyber security solution options, products and vendors
  • driving solution selection process with stakeholders
  • designing and implementing processes and tools to support cyber security framework delivery and implementation activities against agreed scope / requirements
  • testing and verifying solutions delivered by third parties
  • preparing for rollouts
  • coordinating initiatives
  • working with stakeholders to create communication artefacts
  • managing issues and risks

In order to succeed, the cyber security business analyst will require most of the following:
  • intermediate to senior experience as a business analyst
  • a solid foundation in cyber security
  • some project management skills
  • the ability to work autonomously and get things across the line with superb initiative and a minimum of supervision
  • Genuine passion and enthusiasm for innovative technologies and cyber security
  • Ability to formulate process or technical solutions from loosely defined initial requirements.
  • Previous experience implementing vulnerability management, threat intelligence solutions
  • Ability to understand business priorities and apply them to own work.
