With multiple roles on offer, our client is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Leas as well as multiple Cyber Security Specialists, with a focus on maintaining and improving security within their ICT systems.


The roles will be focused on the development, implementation and continuous operation of an effective cybersecurity program, developing a framework to manage cyber risks and maintaining technical capabilities within the Cyber Security team well as maintaining an in-depth understanding of external environment, to manage threats as they arise and provide advice the Chief Executive Officer, Technical Director and Chief Strategy Officer as needed.


Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Cyber Security team to ensure execution of routine tasks.
  • Lead the team to ensure successful delivery of assigned projects.
  • Ensure monitoring of systems and logs to identify anomalies.
  • Ensure maintenance and monitoring of Cyber Security Systems.
  • Provide security analysis and recommendations in architecture, design, development and integration
  • Gather threat intelligence in order to provide advice to management on the larger Cyber Security environment and current events.
  • Lead the development and implementation of ICT Security policies across all layers (Network, Computer, and Storage).
  • Manage the delivery of effective end user training for Cyber Security.
  • Identify and liaise with external Agencies in support of the management of system accreditations and audit compliance.
  • Manage the assigned Departmental budget and deliver value for money outcomes within the scope of the approved budget.
Skills and experience:

  • AGSVA clearance level: NV1 or NV2.
  • Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) and/or relevant industry qualification
  • Sound abilities in analysis and critical thinking with a technical focus
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • High level organisational skills with the ability to organise own work priorities to meet deadlines and understanding of project management methodologies
  • Sound interpersonal skills, with an ability to participate within and lead a small team environment
  • Membership of information security related professional associations (desirable).
