What you’ll be doing
The Data Governance team at Coles sits within Technology, but good governance means you’ll work directly with the business, technology and group functions (privacy, security, risk) to establish great data management practices.
You will work with stakeholders across the Coles Group, to establish sustainable governance practices within each data domain, enabling data accessibility, democratisation and empowering the business to maximise the value of data.
Your role will work directly with data stewards to build and embed governance processes in their business. You’ll help drive our master data, metadata and data quality programs and work on new enterprise multi-tenant cloud data management platforms.
Part of your day to day will be to support embedding sustainable data governance across Coles and maximising the value of strategic data platform investment.
You will be supporting domain data stewards, management of enterprise metadata and master data, identification and management of data quality issues and controls, uplift business data literacy, lead and champion data governance best practices; and operationally manage data governance controls through facilitation and collaboration across information stakeholders.
Good things you’ll need
