Our client, a highly respected local council, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Management contractor to review and update the Business Continuity Plan and procedures. Our client is a provider of library services across the local area, and has multiple libraries that are open to the general public for their enjoyment. Reporting to the CEO, you will support the review, identification, management and reporting of enterprise risk and business continuity matters, including the Business Continuity Plan, pandemic plan and risk management procedures and practices. This is a 3 month temporary role located in Box Hill, however, it also offers working from home arrangements in light of COVID-19.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and update the enterprise risk management strategy and procedures
  • Support risk owners in the review and identification of enterprise risks
  • Report on the status of enterprise risks, controls and improvement plans
  • Review and update the Business Continuity Plan and procedures
  • Review the Pandemic Preparedness and Response plans and procedures
  • Support the identification and implementation of continuous improvement activities
  • Provide training and guidance to risk owners

Skills/Experience:

  • Demonstrated enterprise risk and business continuity experience in local government or community services sectors.
  • A tertiary qualification in risk management or other relevant disciplines.
  • A national police check and a valid Working with Children's check is required.
