How Will I Help?
Technology Risk is a 2nd line risk function, providing oversight, challenge and insights to the Group Chief Operating Office (COO) (which includes Group Technology, Group Operations and Corporate Services) to enable it to achieve its strategic objectives within risk appetite.
The Executive Manager, Technology Risk supports the Chief Risk Officer, Technology and Operations and Head of Technology Risk to achieve Technology Risk’s accountabilities and responsibilities. This role is focused on technology risk arising in the Enterprise Services and Group Business Units (Legal, Risk, Finance and Human Resources) primarily throug h:
As a senior member of the Technology Risk team, the role is expected to function relatively independently, but seeking guidance and escalating matters as necessary. That includes being the primary contact point in Technology Risk for the Enterprise Services and Group Business Units (the Businesses).

What do I need?
The successful candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge within the Technology Risk space with over 7 years of technology risk advisory and/or 8 years of technology risk experience in a consulting/audit firm (with financial services experience). You will ideally have a background across delivery, Line 1, risk management or architecture paired with extremely strong analytical and problem solving skills.
It is very important that you have demonstrable experience of influencing senior business leadership teams as well as senior stakeholders and can demonstrate strategic thinking and prioritisation. You will have extremely advanced stakeholder management skills and show assertiveness when needed.

You have exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills and be able to appropriately elicit information, challenge, and influence stakeholders to enable the successful achievement of outcomes.
