As the Executive Manager, Technology Risk focused on Group Risk, your objective will be to support the Chief Risk Officer, Technology and Operations and Head of Technology Risk to achieve Technology Risk’s accountabilities and responsibilities. As a senior member of the Technology Risk team, the role is expected to function relatively independently, but seeking guidance and escalating matters as necessary. That includes being the primary contact point in Technology Risk for the Enterprise Services and Group Business Units (the Businesses)
Technology Risk is a 2nd line risk function, providing oversight, challenge and insight to the Group’s Chief Operating Office (includes Group Technology, Group Operations and Corporate Services), to enable it to achieve its strategic objectives within risk appetite.

What do I need?
The successful candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge of Technology Risk advisory experience and/or Technology Risk experience in a consulting/audit firm with financial services experience. You will have experience working within institutional banking risk and compliance and/or an understanding of Institutional Banking regulation. You will possess a sound technology background in delivery across Line 1, with risk management or architecture. You will have the ability to obtain, process and provide insights into large data sets and be advanced within PC Literacy (MS Office; Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
You are a natural leader and are influential in your ways of working with senior business leadership teams and the wider security industry. You are strategic in your thinking and your ability manage competing priorities are second nature.

You have exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills and be able to appropriately elicit information, challenge, and influence stakeholders to enable the successful achievement of outcomes.
