Contribute to the development and understanding of Governance Framework Policy Documents within Government

Your new role
This unique and important role requires a highly specialised skill set that combines extensive experience in governance, risk and quality assurance with highly developed writing and policy skills, and the ability to engage with a variety of internal stakeholders. You will be contributing to the development of Governance and Risk Management Framework Policy Documents, as well as supporting the ongoing education of staff across the Governance team and wider Division.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll possess strong analytical and communication skills as you will be liaising closely with internal and external stakeholders. You will be required to gather large amounts of information from various sources to make informed decisions and provide both written and verbal advice. As well as this you will demonstrate:
Previous experience developing and implementing Governance and Risk Management Frameworks
High level policy development skills including sound knowledge, or the ability to quickly obtain sound knowledge of the government’s and the agency’s existing risk management policy and framework.
Sound judgement including ability to quickly identify issues, synthesise complex information, discern implications for the agency and provide a range of options and/or solutions in response to the issues.
High level reporting skills including ability to prepare strategic and operational risk reports for strategic committees and the executive.
High level negotiation skills including the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
You must be an Australian citizen and currently possess, or be able to obtain and maintain, a minimum Baseline personnel security clearance.
