Job Description

The Role:

The Board Relations and Governance Coordinator is responsible for supporting the smooth functioning of Board and Committee processes with a strong focus on effective administration of meetings. The role assists the General Manager, Company Secretariat and Chairperson and requires a senior corporate EA with experience in Board administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the company secretary function to ensure seamless delivery of company secretary support to Board and Senior Management
  • Board meeting scheduling, oversee all scheduled meetings; coordinating director diaries and meeting logistics
  • Support the Company Secretary and Chairperson, review and distribution of board papers
  • Liaise with Senior Management and Board Directors in relation to agendas and papers
  • Maintain Diligent, the electronic Board Portal and company statutory minute registers
  • Support the Company Secretary and Chairperson in relation to Board-related papers
  • Oversee and maintain company secretary policies register and policies
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Senior administration background with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Executive Assistant or Legal Secretarial roles (Legal background would be highly desirable)
  • Experience with electronic Board paper applications – Diligent is preferred
  • Advanced MS Package skills
  • Outstanding senior stakeholder skills and organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
