Join a high-calibre, collaborative workplace where you will be involved in developing solutions relating to regulatory and internal changes within Macquarie’s Group Treasury division. This is a unique opportunity which will necessitate you to think broadly, be forward-thinking, proactive, and engage with stakeholders from different divisions within the group.

In this diverse role, you will work closely with businesses within Macquarie group and other areas of Group Treasury and the Financial Management Group. You will work with stakeholders to understand the impact of external or internal business changes and help deliver on the implementations needed that meet regulatory requirements.

In this role your technical skills and qualifications will include:

• A relevant academic background in a financial or quantitative degree, e.g. actuarial, accounting, economics, engineering, mathematics.
• Previous experience and knowledge of capital or liquidity reporting or regulatory change projects involving transformations in calculation or reporting systems.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills coupled with an ability to understand and succinctly explain complex data.
• Clear & concise written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage with all levels of management including non-technical stakeholders.

In this role your key responsibilities will include:

• Active involvement in regulatory development work.
• Analysis and understanding of complex financial or regulatory data.
• Liaising between businesses, FMG and other divisions.
• Having an eye for detail with the ability and curiosity to investigate when required.
• Showcasing commercial acumen and an ability to ‘see the bigger picture’.
• Working in a dynamic, diverse environment and adapting to change.
• Collaborating with stakeholders from multiple different work backgrounds.
