The Executive Inn and Gateway Inn are owned by The Wests Group Australia, a Newcastle owned and operated (not for profit) membership-based organisation. About the position
The Gateway Inn currently have an opportunity in our Guest Relations team. This position is the first point of contact for our guests and provides friendly, personalised customer service throughout our guests stay.
Key responsibilities will include:
Maintaining guest accounts, taking reservations and assisting with guest enquiries.
Having a thorough knowledge of all Hotel and Club facilities
Processing of financial transactions
Handling reservation enquiries and bookings
Check in and out of Guests
This position will require availability to work across a 7 day rotating roster including evenings, afternoons, weekends, and peak holiday periods including public holidays.

You are a team player with excellent communication skills and the proven ability to work unsupervised if required. You will have a strong work ethic and are reliable. With the flexibility to work across a 7 day rotating roster, you will have previous experience in customer service oriented position and demonstrate strong computer literacy skills. Previous experience is highly desirable but not essential.
