As a Senior Risk professional you’ll have a holistic overview of the risk landscape and risk management function to drive regulatory, local and global implementation and coordinate change throughout ING. You will drive the risk automation agenda with a dedicated team.

You’ll be responsible for the development and stress-testing of credit risk models ensuring they fully satisfy Australian and European regulatory standards and technical requirements. You’ll have full responsibility for enterprise wide stresstesting framework and capital adequacy assessment adhering local and global minimum (regulatory) requirements.

This role will see you driving enterprise wide projects and providing advice and feedback on acceptable levels of risk to Business Leaders, CRO, Boards of Directors and Committees. You’ll partner with 1st Line and 3rd line to deliver pragmatic solutions that fulfil our obligations and responsibilities and are commercially viable.

What are you going to do? You’ll be….

• Working with colleagues globally to implement European Central Bank and Australian regulatory projects, ensuring that the Australian perspective is considered globally
• Guiding our automation and data driven decision making project to ensure that we are robustly advising the enterprise
• Ensuring compliancy with IRB and IFRS9 local and consolidated standards are maintained
• Reporting and providing advice to various committees on the risk threshold levels
• Coaching and upskilling team members to ensure they are able to advise and present to committees and regulators as required
• Implementing innovative techniques and data driven insights in managing integrative risk and improving efficiencies.

What are we looking for? You’ll have…

• Significant experience Leading an Integrative/ Enterprise Risk function
• An Excellent understanding and experience operating within both European and Australian regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in Model Development and the Regulatory Approval Process from an Australian and European perspective
• Detailed understanding of the risk related regulation in the Australian jurisdiction as well as the European context
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• A collaborative approach to problem solving
