Design the Cyber Security Architecture framework and reference architecture to ensure sustainability and efficiency of the underlying architecture and platforms
Ensure the framework aligns with IT and Information Management Strategy, governance frameworks and overall architecture, and where required, adhere to any legislative and regulatory requirements
Provide guidance and oversight of activities related to information security services and technologies across the architecture landscape, including Cloud Computing, Identity & Access Management, Threat detection, Incident Response, Security Testing, and attack detection & monitoring.
Provide assurance and consultative services to IT and the business, including participating in application and infrastructure projects to undertake security assessments and provide security-planning advice
Working with the IT Strategy & Architecture function, develop and maintain a security architecture process that enables the development and implementation of security solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned with business, technology and threat drivers
Develop security strategy plans and roadmaps based on sound enterprise architecture practices
Track developments and changes in the digital business and threat environments to ensure that they're adequately addressed in security strategy plans and architecture artifacts
Validate IT infrastructure and other reference architectures for security best practices and recommend changes to enhance security and reduce risks, where applicable
Actively contribute and deliver against cyber and information security initiatives and activities outside of the immediate architecture responsibilities (eg, policy and standard design, and security awareness and education activities.)
Your Skills & Experience
Degree in Computer Science or related field.
At least five years of experience specialising in aspects of IT security.
Outstanding understanding of Managed Security Solutions.
Strong technical knowledge of Cisco Network Products.
Extensive experience in the development, deployment and maintenance of security policies, procedures, standards and strategies.
Brilliant communication skills to liaise and assist with reviews from internal and external security auditors.
