How will I help?
Reporting to the Executive manager of Business Controls and Monitoring, Business Lending, this role plays a pivotal part in the development of a new line of business within Business Lending. As part of the team, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
As part of a team of risk professionals contribute to ensuring the divisional and business operations and risk management practices align to the frameworks, policies, risk strategy, regulatory obligations, and appetite of the Group.
Provide support into Business Divisions risk governance, including preparation of metrics and detailed analysis on risk performance across the E2E LOB
Contribute and support first line risk governance with deep dive and thematic analysis including providing oversight for consistency, quality, and effectiveness
Drive efficiency and automation of data and reporting

What do I need?
A strong candidate will bring 3 to 5 years of operational risk, compliance, or legal advisory within the Banking or Financial Services industry. This person can come from an audit/consulting firm having worked within the Financial Services practices. The successful person will have a proactive and outcomes focused mindset. You will also be proficient in your verbal and written communication skills. You will also possess the following technical skills:
SQL/Teradata skills and experience
Cognos/Oracle GL skills and experience
Tableau/Power BI data visualisation and reporting
