Do work that matters:

The Regulatory and Control Operations (RACO) team is accountable for the development, implementation and ongoing leadership of the Groups financial crime shared services.

The purpose of the Manager positions is to lead the team responsible for detection and reporting of money laundering and terrorism financing activity. The team plays a vital role in managing the Group's exposure to money-laundering and terrorism financing risks.

In any given week you will be responsible for;

  • Leading and motivating a team of Senior Analyst & Analysts (coaching, mentoring, providing feedback and upskilling)
  • Managing the planning, execution and completion of AML/CTF monitoring services
  • Managing resources to assess AML/CTF alerts in accordance with agreed timeframes
  • Communication of matters as relevant/appropriate and in accordance with agreed escalation reporting processes
  • Providing statistics, analysis, insights and commentary for reports as required and update Bank systems accordingly

Ideally you will have:

  • Previously managed/supervised a financial crime operations team
  • Successfully motivated a high performing team
  • Strong background/understanding of AML/CTF within the banking .
  • Demonstrated the ability to make decisions and solve problems to achieve optimum outcomes
  • Solid understanding of banking products and performance metrics
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management
