The Department of Customer Service (DCS) is a service provider, regulator and central agency of government. DCS is undertaking an ambitious digital transformation of government services, underpinned by its Digital Government Strategy.


Government Technology Platforms (GTP) enables NSW government through the provision of core and common digital capability including cross sector leadership and delivery of ICT infrastructure and digital services aligned to the NSW Government ICT Strategy; Beyond Digital.


About the Role


Reporting to the Director, Digital Platforms Operations, this role is part of a diverse and collaborative team who value individual input and offers genuine flexibility.


 Working closely with the operational and delivery teams, the Manager Digital and Data, Risk & Compliance leads the implementation and improvement of our Information Security Management System (ISMS) including risk management practices and embedding a cyber aware culture of delivering safe, secure, and compliant services.


This role embeds the ISMS within business practices to maintain continuity of services and ensure processes and procedures are alignment with relevant policy, including the Cyber Security Policy: https://www.digital.nsw.gov.au/policy/cyber-security-policy.  


 About you


This role will draw on your cyber security, customer service and stakeholder management skills where you have provided expert advice and recommendations in accordance with relevant policies, frameworks and controls including ISO27001 and PCI-DSS.


 Your previous experience in driving cyber security activity and improving an ISMS governance framework across a diverse range of digital products and services will be critical to your success.


 You will have the ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge on ICT, cyber security and cyber risk trends and ideally have experience with cyber security policy in the context of NSW government.

Salary Clerk Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $128,473 base plus superannuation
