How will I help?
You will play a key role in supporting the Operational Risk Team in delivering to the Risk Division purpose through effective Oversight, Insight and Control and providing an independent 2nd Line View of the effectiveness of LOB risk management practices and execution against the Risk Management Framework across the Everyday Banking and Customer Finance Lines of business.
You will work with the Business on how to identify, monitor, measure and manage existing and emerging risks.
Passionate about Risk and Change, you will establish yourself as a a trusted Risk Advisor to the Business, assisting stakeholders and business units in driving a risk aware culture, where risk is built into business decisions. You will have the confidence to challenge the status quo, Share solutions, insights advice and recommendations from lessons learnt and potential risk impacts discussed internally and from external developments.

What do I need?
A strong candidate will bring 6 + years of specific business experience in a relevant area of a large financial services organisation; or 3+ years of operational risk/compliance advisory experience in the same or other Business unit within the Group, financial services organisation, or consulting/audit firm with financial services experience. You will be a strategic thinker, eager to learn and comfortable being in the detail including demonstrable experience influencing business leadership teams and prioritisation.
