Brisbane City Council is seeking a PMO officer to contribute to their Project Capability, Assurance and Quality. In this role you will deliver a series of process and applied practice improvements within Brisbane City Council’s project management environment, ensuring that the deliverables of an assigned work package or individual task are delivered according to agreed performance parameters and are fit for purpose.

As the right candidate for this role you will have the following experience:
  • Demonstrated experience of successfully delivering project management related improvement projects and/or specific work packages to agreed timeframes, budget and standards.
  • Demonstrated experience of utilising organisational project management principles, frameworks and methodologies to improve processes, applied practices, templates, to optimise project, program and portfolio outcomes.
  • Well-developed research, analytical and problem-solving skills to gather and compile information, develop reports and produce high quality documentation utilising appropriate software.
  • Demonstrated experience of supporting a business function/team to deliver its services through process development, secretariat duties, compliance oversight, records management and collaborative support.
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills to write reports, general project communications and to successfully develop and manage stakeholder relationships.
