The Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity for someone to grow our Strategic Risk Management and Governance capabilities across the Australian business. We’re seeking a leader who will harness their strong business development, people skills and technical credentials to win, guide and deliver risk projects across all of our business sectors.

It is envisaged that this role will include the ability to work and lead our clients to perform the following tasks:

  • Develop and mature governance and risk frameworks
  • Link strategy to corporate level and operational risks
  • Utilise the best technology solutions to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the risk management approach
  • Embed the chosen risk appetite and culture with in the business or project
  • Assessing regulatory risk framework requirements
  • Embedding Future Ready by working with clients to do scenario planning and risk and resilience work.
  • Working with clients on their risk appetite and tolerance to investment decisions making and strategic asset management
  • Working with our Digital and Data Analytics capability to embed a range of digital business applications to support our clients risk management and reporting processes.

What we'll love about you

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, results-driven strategic consultant with a passion for delivering real value to our clients. A naturally collaborative individual and an ability to work in conjunction with cross-functional teams, you will be creative and agile in your thinking and able to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • 15 + years’ professional experience
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification
  • Exposure to non-financial services risk management
  • A strong understanding of risk management across multiple industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new work from new and existing client networks.
  • Client liaison skills in order to build rapport, introduce new business, and establish long-term client relationships.
