Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity to join us in the role of Product Governance & Strategy Implementation Manager. A key function of the role is to collaborate with Commercial and Marketing to drive strategic optimisation of academic product and to perform activities that deliver on implementing product solutions, including new product and changes to product. A key responsibility of the role is to assure risks and opportunities, identified through analysis with various stakeholders across the organization.

This role is part of the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic (ODVCA) and feeds into the ODVCA’s performance management framework (Quarterly Business Reviews) and the Academic Portfolio’s strategy development and business planning. The new incumbent will be responsible for performing DVC(A) processes for preserving the governance of DVC(A) decisions on product solutions and their implementation.

About you

To be successful in the role, you will have:

Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or

Extensive management experience and proven management expertise; or

An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training

Strong business/commercial acumen with proven ability to analyse quantitative data to make sound operational recommendations.

Proven ability to manage a robust governance framework including promoting its use and the understanding of its machinations.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and vary communication style according.
