About COVID-19 Quarantine Victoria
COVID-19 Quarantine Victoria (CQV) is responsible for Victoria's COVID-19 accommodation response, including quarantine for returned overseas travellers and emergency accommodation for people unable to safely isolate in their homes.

About The Role
The Program Manager, Security will be responsible for the day to day oversight of information privacy and security management activities and provide strategic leadership and supervision in conjunction with the Assistant Managers to ensure excellence in staff performance across the team.
Travel within the greater Melbourne area to COVID-19 accommodation sites will be required. Occasional travel to other locations within Victoria may be required.
Day to day responsibilities include:

* Provide high quality, authoritative advice, people management and senior support to the Director, Risk and Assurance in a range of areas relating to information security and assurance. (covering all security domains).
* Lead initiatives through strategic level representation, involving the provision of advice on behalf of the Director at relevant meetings and forums across department (and portfolio agencies) and more broadly Victorian Public Sector agencies, other state and Commonwealth government organisations and third-party providers.
* Manage and support internal reviews and audits and monitor performance activities across the department to ensure continuous improvement, and assess progress and productivity and the management of risks to inform information security management policies, standards and guidelines and operational effectiveness.
* Act compatibly with and consider the Charter of Human Rights.

About You
We are looking for the right person to have:

* Experience in implementing the Victorian Protective Data Security Framework or other similar standards or frameworks.
* Sound understanding of information security management, policy, arrangements and legislative environment.
* Significant experience in undertaking performance reviews and analyses.

You will need to be vaccinated for coronavirus, remain compliant with IPC procedures in place including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (and therefore being clean shaven) and participating in staff COVID-19 testing.
Out of hours contact, and weekend work, will be required from time to time.
