Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will play an integral part in developing positive, value adding quality management systems and creating a culture of Continuous improvement with regard to Quality. Key to your success, will be your ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders to manage and respond to quality incidents, collecting and analyzing critical data and providing feedback to improve internal systems.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • QA testing (across multiple departments & processes)
  • Routine QA reporting (on a daily or monthly basis as required)
  • Conducting QA investigations (including HFI stock ID & disposition)
  • Supporting R&D & Product Development requirements
  • Management of the customer service functions (internal & external > investigations, meetings, liaison, audits and technical support)

What you will bring to the team:

  • Solid prior experience in a similar role within a major manufacturing business/packaging/FMCG industry
  • Understanding of ISO9001, FSSC 22000, GMP, OFS, NCR database, CAR investigation & response, IQMS and SFOL systems
  • Proficiency in product testing, quality investigation and maintaining Quality and Food Safety systems
  • Highly self-motivated and as a natural leader you are assertive and not afraid to make a decision
  • Excellent communication skills to manage both internal and external relationships
