Location: Hobart, Tasmania (onsite only, no remote arrangement available)

As we continue to scale and develop new technologies, you will be the champion and driver of industry-leading product quality. 

As our first Quality Assurance Engineer, you will 

  • Introduce and develop sound automation testing infrastructure and workflow, relevant to our environment 
  • Expand our testing infrastructure to hardware instead of simulators (iPhones and iPads of all versions)

  • Group bugs based on reproducibility, product impact and engineering effort

  • Escalate critical bugs and communicate quality data to the Product Development team 

  • Be the triage between Product Development and Product Care teams to streamline and optimise project execution

Our ideal candidate:

  • Is obsessed with quality 
  • Is methodical and process driven, with high attention to detail

  • Can identify the simplest and most effective way to solve a problem, driven by automation 

  • Has previous experience in mobile application testing (Android experience seen favourably, but you’ll be testing exclusively on iOS)

  • Has strong fundamentals in software engineering. Game or iOS development (Swift and Objective-C) experience is favourable
