The Role:

We are recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Associate to join the Regulatory Team at our head office in North Ryde.

The successful applicant will be part of a pro-active team ensuring regulatory compliance of our market leading Health Care Business - specifically our medical devices for Australia & New Zealand.

What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain documentation relevant to current healthcare regulations for both Australia and New Zealand including preparing and filing regulatory documents.
  • Perform and guide regulatory activities resulting from approved, self-initiated or assigned technical programs leading to the regulatory compliance, assessment of safety to human health and liability avoidance, and product responsibility issues concerning existing or new therapeutic products.  Activities  include working with internal stakeholders to prepare submissions, advertising reviews; and support to business regulatory activities.
  • Engage in regular communication (written and verbal) with legislators in relation to: product registration, post market product activity compliance and contribution to public comment consultation on proposed legislative and codes of practice changes

Who you are:

  • Degree qualified with background in health sciences desirable
  • Previous experience in a similar role with a demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of Medical Device regulatory compliance and regulations.
  • Experience in wound care products an advantage.
  • Familiarity with ANZ Healthcare regulations
  • The ability to achieve business priorities using exceptional organisational and planning skills
  • Cross functional with the ability to work across many teams and cultures.
  • Passionate in ensuring your products are positively enhancing and improving health outcomes for those that use our products
