The rapid growth of Insurx has seen an exciting opportunity for an experienced Regulatory Project Manager to join our busy and growing workforce for a 3-6 month contract.

Who Are We?

Insurx is a third-party insurance management business, partnering with leading brokerages to provide an exceptional claims management service. We manage claims from start to finish for some of the largest broker insurers in the country. Our modern office is located in the heart of Parramatta CBD, close to public transport.

Who are you?

As the Regulatory Project Manager, your purpose is to project manage the implementation of the GICOP compliance framework and complaints handling process for Insurx. You're committed to progressing your career, driven to achieve, knowledgeable about insurance, and passionate about your work.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Project Manage the implementation and operationalisation of the General Industry Code of Practice within the Insurx Third Party Administration business
  • Design and implement policies and procedures to ensure the business and its Authorised Representatives understand and meet their obligations under the Code including implementation by the due deadline
  • Design and implement training programs to ensure all staff understand their obligations and responsibilities under the Code
  • Work with the technology team to automate solutions wherever possible
  • Review and improve processes and procedures for complaints handling, including the dispute resolution process
  • Consider ongoing compliance monitoring as part of the overall project plan
  • Design appropriate management reporting
  • Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and devise solutions to mitigate risk

To be successful, you will bring with you the following skills and capabilities:

  • Previous experience leading regulatory projects. While GICOP implementation experience would be ideal, experience in AFSL or Privacy compliance would also be very relevant.
  • Insurance industry experience, and a high degree of familiarity with general insurance terminology
  • Strong project management credentials, with the ability to help others understand what is required and what is possible, particularly with respect to technology and process automation (via our technology, known as Wilbur Claims)
  • Familiarity with implementing operational processes and the ability to translate the Code into practice
  • A “doer” with a willingness to take a hands on approach to the Code implementation
  • A strong background in end to end project management and a track record of delivering challenging projects on time
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; and a positive, personable, and approachable manner
  • Resilient; able to work well under pressure and to compressed timeframes
  • A proactive, committed and results driven approach
  • Strong organisation and time management capabilities
  • Demonstrated experience resolving issues and negotiating resolutions
