Our client, a leading national multi-disciplinary law firm is seeking a Risk & Compliance Manager to join the management team in the Melbourne office.
The position reports to the Chief Operations Officer and will involve ensuring that the Firm’s risk and compliance strategies, frameworks, systems and processes are adequately developed and effectively operating to control risks and support compliance.

Key remit and responsibilities:
  • develop and implement risk and compliance frameworks
  • carry out strategic risk reviews
  • draft policies and procedures
  • identify operational improvements
  • recommend and deliver key initiatives
  • oversee external audit requests
  • management reporting
  • deliver training
  • liaising with relevant stakeholders
This position would suit an experienced risk and compliance specialist keen to work autonomously and at a strategic and operational level. Prior experience working in professional services would be highly regarded but is not essential.
