A day in the life of a Risk & Compliance Business Parter - GRC System

You will partner with the business in an advisory capacity partnering with several departments.

Your role will focus on implementing, embedding, and training on the new GRC system and lead reporting with the line 2 team using GRC data providing thorough reports to stakeholders.

This role will significantly contribute towards the risk management a compliance strategy.

Key Duties include

  • Identify requirements for a successful implementation of the GRC tool.
  • Perform QA existing data during decommissioning of the existing tool.
  • Mature the existing governance structures & drive consistency.
  • Mature risk and compliance reporting within line 2.
  • Identify how risk appetite statement an KRIs strengthen governance.
  • Steward the policies across the business, build out test scripts.
  • Conduct testing to ensure policy adherence.

Desired Experience to succeed in the role

  • Minimum 5 + years in an Operational Risk or Compliance role within a highly regulated customer focused industry.
  • Experience providing risk & compliance experience particularly in a control environment.
  • Understanding of GRC systems and tools.
  • Hands on deliver style including drafting risk and compliance materials.
  • Practical understanding of contemporary enterprise risk management techniques.
  • Balance a risk & compliance mindset with commercial
  • Ability to map out business processes to diagnose critical issues
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong presence and articulate when dealing with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory & legislative requirements such as advertising, marketing, spam would be helpful.
  • Enhanced written skills for reports with strong attention to detail.
