About the role:
Location: This role can be based from several locations including - VIC - NSW - QLD - SA - TAS
The primary focus of the role is the operations, implementation and continuous improvement of the Work Health and Safety system, and support for the delivery of Risk, Business Continuity and Environmental management systems. As part of the RSE team your role and responsibilities will include:
using your influencing skills to drive a positive health and safety culture across all divisions of the APM business
providing specialist WHS advice and support to APM Leaders and employees to ensure:
the identification, assessment and control of hazards
investigation and review of incidents and injuries
ongoing consultation, coordination and collaboration with and between stakeholders
assist the RSE team with the identification and monitoring of natural disasters and the formulation and distribution of emergency hazard alerts, warnings and actions
Actively assist stakeholders with the review and implementation of Safety, Risk, Business Continuity and Environmental plans
Compiling required safety reports for APM leaders
Overall WHS compliance and continuous improvement
We are looking for someone with the ability to communicate and influence across a range of different forums in our business.
You will be quick to adapt to a fast-paced environment and have a flexible approach to work across all levels of the business. Your ability to collaboratively consultant and support with all stakeholders will be key to the success of the role.
About your experience:
Tertiary qualifications in WHS (Cert IV in WHS or a Degree in WHS).
Significant experience in Work Health and Safety associated with the delivery of human services (employment, allied health, disability, or equivalent)
Proven experience in building proactive safety culture.
Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and influence safe work practices.
Excellent working knowledge of MS office including accurate data entry skills.
