A bit about the role
As SEO Operations Security Operations Manager for Identity and Access Management (IAM) you will own the overall technical operational responsibility for critical IAM applications such as Sailpoint, Okta and the Oracle suite. This is a technical leadership role reporting directly to the Executive Manager Security Operations and is accountable for leading the day to day management of IAM Service Operations function, collaborating with Architectures and Service Delivery teams to achieve operational excellence across nbn IAM platforms.
The Security Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall seamless service delivery of the platforms through ensuring availability, stability, maturity, and currency of the systems are maintained, waste is identified and eliminated, and continuous improvement prevails.
Provision of operational support is a requirement of the Security Operations Manager, working in conjunction with the broader support organisation to ensure; service exceptions are minimised; currency and capacity are managed pro-actively; monitoring, alerting and response processors are in place; and end to end service is maintained in line with defined and agreed Service Levels. In addition to this, some of the key accountabilities will also include:
Incidents Management
- Primary point of contact for major operational issues escalations
Problem Management
- Coordinate and lead investigations 24/7 to reproduce production issues and apply workarounds
Change Management
- Assist Service Delivery and IAM Security Operations teams in major and minor release deployments
Continuous Improvements and Operations Governance
- Conduct weekly Service Delivery and IAM Security Operations team meetings to review operational performance

A bit about you
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Design/Test/Development/Operations Support experience in IAM systems, along with IAM Solution Architecture and/or Design and Incident/Problem/Defect Triage, Restoration and Resolution.
Experienced in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery frameworks and implementations as well as being experienced building a team from the ground up with associated measures of success.
The SEO Operations Security Operations Manager – Identity and Access Management (IAM) will also be experienced in the following:
- Specific experience in Development/Testing/Operations support in IAM systems such as Oracle suite, Sailpoint, OKTA, QuantumSafe, Cyber Ark, etc.
- Knowledge of industry trends for information security governance and compliance and secure networking, secure infrastructure, application security and data protection.
- Experience in managing a software development/technical operations team and creating a positive, collaborative, inclusive working environment.
- Lead with authenticity and manage teams and stakeholder communications openly
- Highly developed interpersonal awareness, leadership skills with an outcome focused approach
- Management of a medium sized team and the ability to create high performing team
