A leader in global banking is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Compliance Analyst to provide credible challenges and regulatory compliance advice to the Global Consumer Banking (GCB) Business on various product and regulatory change projects.
Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will be the regulatory compliance expert advising stakeholders in relation to the design and implementation of a new Buy Now Pay Later functionality, and in relation to regulatory impacts of various other GCB projects e.g. regulatory change, design distribution, open banking, white label partners, responsible lending, etc.
Knowledge & Experience:
Expert knowledge of Consumer Banking legislation/regulation in Australia is essential, including NCCP Act, Banking Act, APRA prudential regulation, BCOP, ePayments Code, Privacy Act, SPAM Act, ASIC Guidance
Experience advising in relation to regulatory consumer product compliance across retail lending/retail banking will be highly regarded
Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to interpret and apply legislation/regulation in the context of commercial needs
Ability to manage regulatory relationships
Ability to build relationships with business stakeholders
Self-sufficient and confident with the ability to work autonomously
Bachelor Degree in Law and/or Business or related disciplines is highly desirable
