Risk Consulting is a growing business that focuses on helping our clients understand, manage and oversee their risks, including policy development and program management. Our Specialist team design and transform risk functions for both the public and private sector, create and build enterprise risk management frameworks, advise on governance risk and compliance solutions and support clients in identifying and managing operational risks.

Your Opportunity

Due to significant demand from the Commonwealth and State governments, we are looking for experienced Senior Consultants in Canberra to join our team and to help support our strategy by:

  • Working with government to design, develop and implement risk management frameworks that meet policy requirements at the enterprise, program and project level
  • Facilitating risk assessments, designing and evaluating controls, and developing management reporting including risk indicators and metrics for a range of risk focus areas including strategic, financial, people, operational, compliance and information security risks
  • Working with clients to increase their risk capabilities including conducting risk workshops, designing, developing and facilitating risk training.
  • Applying behavioural insights into the analysis and assessment of risk maturity, culture and behaviours including development of practical recommendations for improvements

How are you Extraordinary?

  • Hold a graduate degree with approximately 3+ years of risk management or government experience in corporate services, program management or policy development
  • A commercial and analytical mindset with complex problem-solving skills
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence and present your ideas with impact to senior management and other key stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude and lots of energy and drive
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint capabilities
