Our Consulting team are looking to hire Consultants, Senior Consultants and Managers based in Sydney and Melbourne.

Key duties of the role are:

  • You will be responsible for working on multiple engagements across a portfolio of Financial Services clients.
  • You can expect to work with top tier organisations, addressing compliance, financial, operational/non-financial and strategic risks, including working to develop internal audit strategies and plans, perform internal control testing and prepare reports detailing findings and recommendations.
  • You will assess clients’ current state processes and controls and identify opportunities to mitigate risk as well as improve process efficiency, effectiveness and business performance.
  • You will help clients improve their risk and control frameworks, controls design, governance processes, reporting and use of analytics.

Essential skills for the role are:

  • The ability to build relationships with colleagues across the business, supporting them and promoting a collaborative culture.
  • The ability to contribute to high quality deliverables which provide relevant insights, underpinned by a keen attention to detail.
  • The skills to apply a structured approach to project management and documentation, and a demonstrated understanding of risk-based auditing methodologies.
  • The skills to assess, design and describe controls to address multiple risk types, including an understanding of how different control types operate.
  • An existing understanding of key business processes, risks and controls
  • Demonstrable experience in Internal Audit and/or Non-financial Risk Management, including both compliance and performance improvement focussed reviews.
  • The ability to be agile, flexible and to adapt to rapidly changing business and client requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in managing and delivering multiple engagements while working as part of a team
  • The ability to write clear and concise reports and proposals

Regarding this role, the minimum salary is AUD 90,000 including 10% superannuation.
