The discipline of Computing and Security within the School of Science has the largest program of cyber security research and teaching in Australia; is one of only two federal government recognised Academic Centers of Cyber Security Excellence; and, is the home to the Cyber Security Cooperative Research Centre (Cyber-CRC) with academic, government and industry partners attracting $139m of funding.
Our courses are informed by an active research program, with much of the related research being aligned to the ECU Security Research Institute - an internationally recognised leader in multidisciplinary security science research. We are currently seeking applicants for a key position, directly supporting our growing cyber security education portfolio – in particular our on-campus, on-line, accelerated and remote campuses both national and international.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated academic to pursue teaching and research in a growing area of national and international strategic importance, and to be a leader not just within ECU, but nationally and internationally.
Applications are encouraged from those who have at least five years of post-PhD academic experience including extensive teaching and learning responsibilities and a proven research track record commensurate with the level of appointment.

Benefits & Remuneration
This position attracts remuneration of $124,522 to $164,111 (ALEVC-ALEVD) (pro-rata for part-time) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
