Senior Manager Compliance and Regulatory Reform (Wealth, DCEO and Program Delivery)
As Senior Manager you will partner, support and guide the business in embedding the Operational and Compliance Risk Management frameworks, with primary focus on Regulatory Reform Program projects.
You will also partner closely with Line 2 Compliance to embed, assess and provide assurance over risk and compliance framework maturity, compliance plans, thematic reviews and perform targeted deep dive reviews.
About the role:
Advising on the interpretation of changes in regulations relevant to the Regulatory Reform Program;
Provide support on the application of internal policies relevant to Regulatory Reform Program Projects with a focus on the proactive management of emerging risks, maintain risk profiles, and creating risk artefacts;
Support the business to understand the impact of regulatory change on its risk profiles, including ensuring that the control environment accommodates the relevant regulatory requirements through validating existing controls and addressing control gaps and weaknesses;
Supporting the business in its preparation and approval/certification of artefacts to support the delivery of Regulatory Reform Program Projects, including Product Specifications, Business Requirement Documents, and Functional & Technical Specification documents;
Assist with preparation of insightful risk and compliance reports;
Partner with the business on Regulatory Reform Program Projects to provide 'approve and accept' assurance on their activities.
Extensive experience in Financial services Risk and Compliance (particularly within superannuation or funds management)
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex stakeholders;
Commercial orientation balanced with proven technical expertise resulting in pragmatic and relevant business risk management outcomes;
Relevant qualifications (Law, Finance, Economics or Accounting).
