Senior Manager, Portfolio Governance

Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), this role is responsible for ensuring oversight and governance of projects, programs, and portfolios in line with regulatory standards and business requirements, ensuring projects meet their required obligations and financial measures.

You will play a key role in developing and implementing the portfolio governance framework, ensuring clear outcomes and objectives, active management of risk and early detection and intervention when issues arise. Key focus areas include -

  • Defining and embedding portfolio, program and project controls
  • Maintaining a governance calendar and align this to fund level risk and compliance
  • Facilitating key governance forums
  • Preparing and providing executive reporting

A self-starter, you are proactive and love working in a collaborative environment. You pride yourself on your well-developed relationship skills; you are a confident communicator. You can liaise at all levels with Executives, senior managers, delivery leaders and staff in a credible and comfortable style. You have a high level of integrity together with strong personal and business ethics, sound judgement and a commitment to transparency and accountability.
Your experience is specific to Enterprise Program Management, Delivery best practice and extensive experience in complex governance and risk compliance. In addition, you have an excellent working knowledge of Financial Services/Superannuation with demonstrated experience leading programs using various techniques and methodologies.
