The Enterprise Risk Advisory team provides strategic guidance to the Executive General Manager, Enterprise Risk, Group CRO and the Risk Management Leadership Team in relation to areas such as the Group Risk Management Framework, Risk Appetite Statement, Environmental and Social Risk, Emerging risks and risk disclosures.

Do work that matters

Reporting to Executive Manager Enterprise Risk Advisory as Senior Manager, you'll be supporting in the design, implementation and oversight of CBA's Environmental & Social (E&S) Risk Management Framework. This includes activities such as:

  • Risk Appetite design and implementation
  • Identifying and advising solutions for current and potential future gaps in the Group E&S framework
  • Providing Line 2 challenge and approval that key E&S risk decisions are aligned to the risk framework and risk appetite
  • E&S risk framework and profile reporting to Board, including identifying and reporting on emerging E&S risks to the Group
  • E&S risk disclosures for the Annual Report and key transactions.

It's an opportunity where no two days will ever be the same as you identify and advise solutions for current and potential future gaps in the Group E&S framework and research E&S risk management better practice by monitoring internal Group activities and external market trends and the regulatory pipeline.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Strong technical Environmental and Social Risk management expertise along with demonstrated experience in developing and shaping organisational Risk Management Frameworks
  • Delivering meaningful reporting and insights to senior leaders
  • Proven ability to advise and influence stakeholders as well as the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organisation
  • The capacity to make sound commercial decisions, and solve problems and drive outcomes with optimal results
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
