  • Heaps of control testing done, inclusive of automated controls and manual controls.

Senior Manager, Technology Assurance

How will I help?

Reporting to the Executive Manager, Risk Assurance, Technology and Analytics, this person will be responsible for leading line 2 assurance reviews across Technology for the Group. You will bring a keen eye for detail in executing OE/DE controls testing. This person will also be responsible for executing the Annual Assurance Plan. You will work across the IT General Control applications and process and undertake deep dive reviews to provide your insights.

The Senior Manager will be working on Technology Assurance matters across SOX compliance, Prudential compliance, projects compliance and operational risk and compliance matters. You will provide thought leadership to senior business stakeholders and support the Executive Manager in reporting to Executives and Boards.

What do I need?

A strong candidate will bring 8 plus years of experience across audit or assurance relating to technology. This experience will ideally come from a financial service organisation. You will bring a solid understanding of technology controls and how they work, along with an understanding of infrastructure, cyber security and the cloud.

You will have people management experience and hold stakeholder management skills, being highly proficient with both your verbal and written communication. You will be asked to challenge and hold your own amongst some key people across the organisation and provide your thought leadership on several matters.
