The opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive cyber security experience to join our Digital Foundations Strategic Delivery team. The Digital Foundations Strategic Delivery team supports the University's digital infrastructure initiatives in the areas and products for Cyber Security, Identity & Access, Cloud and Virtualization Services, Middleware & Integration, Networking and Communications and Backup & Archiving,

This position will be required to manage multiple workstreams in the Cyber Security Improvement Project (CSIP) and will report directly to our Strategic Delivery Manager, Digital Foundations.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, lead and manage project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, project and benefit deliverables
  • Identity and manage project approach and culture
  • Manage and lead cross-functional teams in order to successfully deliver projects on time and quality
  • Develop and lead the gathering of requirements
  • Assess and Manage Risk, Issues and Actions
  • Monitor and control each phase and steps of project implementation
  • Find solutions to mitigate and/or minimise project risks and other issues
  • Stakeholder engagement

This a 1 year Fixed Term, full time position based at the Nathan campus.

About you
To be successful within this role, you will be able to demonstrate significant knowledge and experience in managing enterprise-wide cyber security projects. ¿You will also display evidence of:

  • Proven experience in delivery of Cyber security projects
  • Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
  • Experience in Agile, Scrum and Kanban methodologies would be preferred
  • Practitioner or equivalent certification are highly regarded.
  • PRINCE2 certifications are highly regarded.
  • Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience are highly regarded

Salary range
Base Salary $115,020 - $119,132 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation $134,573 - $139,384.
